Don't know if anyone else has had this problem;
I have the 47re with the classic lock/unlock problem. Did everything to fix it; BD noise isolator, tin foil on the wire and so on........ These DID fix the problem 'til just recently. I'd be driving the truck, accelerate and the t/c would lock/unlock rapidly 'til the truck caught up with the engine. Then, two days after the pump would die after the t/c problem. Shut the truck down, restart, the pump would fire, and I'd be on my way. Thought the two problems were unrelated.

Thought the pump motor was bad, changed out the pump. Took the truck for a test drive and the pump died again! Finally decided to try the relay in the wiring(backwards, I know that now). New relay; no dying pump. The thing is that it also stopped the t/c from locking/unlocking. It doesn't matter how hard I accelerate the t/c stays locked, like it's supposed to.:woohoo:

I don't know why but these two systems, fuel and t/c lock-up are intertwined. Thought I'd share this since I couldn't find this info anywhere else.

Thanks all,
Travis.
