Just finished the NV4500 Conversion, Got it to fire up good. All the lines are tight, But at idle its running at 1000rpms if not a hair more, Sounds like a cracked injector with the knocking, but no smoke at all and these injectors have never been ran before. They are a 6x.013 with the monsterpump X tubes.

I thought it would clear up after a few minutes but as it sat, the RPM at idle steadly and slowly kept increasing. I shut it off when it reached 1250.

Also, when giving it light throttle, it does not want to come back down to its abnormal idle, it will try to stay at where I leave off.

Truck is a 98.5 so i cannot pull up any codes flashing the ignition, And I do not have my smarty present with me.

sounds like the injector o-rings could be bad just a little?! either that or a bad injector! i would pull them and have them pop tested first and if they check ok then i would replace the o-rings

The pop pressure should be okay. I'm almost positive they were adjusted before they were shipped to me. I had a hell of a time getting the injectors to seat in the head the o ring was so tight. But the idle does sound like 2 or more of the lines are loose but i got zero leaks.

crack each line nut with it running

you can overtighten them..... and they wont leak, and run like you have a screwed up injector.
