bad points of 370's?

what are the bad points with 370's? I know about the haze @ idle but what else is there you guys seem real down on them but the price atracts me!!
 
also intrested, i know the spray angle.....they have to be better than the penciola injectors...
 
they seemed to run hotter than that size of injector should. i put haisley 5x16s in their place.more hp,no smoke at idle,about the same egt
 
Old School tech, WAY better things out there, smoke like crazy, Not the best power, bad spray angle and wash down the cylender walls, I wouldnt touch'em......
 
i have a set of 5.014's i got from a local injection shop and they haze bad at a idle, i dunno the spray angle. im thinkin were stock tips honed, but they may be marine's honed....if so that would explain the heavy haze. either way there goin back tomorow he told me if i didnt like them bring them back.......
 
Dont waste your time and money on the marine 370s. I had a set and hated them. Not much power gained, if any. Smoke, EGTs, and fuel mileage were all worse. I sold them and went to a set of NewEra 370s, they were a much better injector. Save up a couple hundred more and you can get a much better quality injector.
 
Cheap bang for the buck injector imho, But definetly better options out there

5 x 16s and no smoke? how much timing is high timing?

So, what is the difference between Marine 370's and Newera 370's? Spray angle?
 
So if DDP's are the same angle as 370's do they wash the bores aswell?
 
i got a vid of mine idleing today.....i dont know how to get it from my phone to the computer though.
 
So to get me into the 13's what injector would you guys go with???
 
So thats like a stage 4 correct? do I have enough fuel for that with a 10 plate & 4GSK? TIA
