99 2500 auto with edge EZ, 4" exhaust, afe, and Fass 150. ran good on stock injectors. installed DD, 75's yester day. purred like a kitten ran much smoother than stock and more power. However get her on the freeway, about 60mph 1700rpm to 1850 rpm, really stumbles and coughs! moved the EZ from level 3 to 1. seems a little better but not much. remove the EZ, no stumbling at all but no power. could it be the advanced timing of the EZ causing a problem??

You might check codes, could be an injection pump problem that's only showing up with the extra fuel flow. P0216 is the code I'd be worrying about.

Check the connector tube fittings too.

What is your fuel pressure?

Weak pump that acted fine until bigger injectors. Or possible bad seal on a connector tube.

If a bad seal on a connector tube, should i see diesel around the fuel lines?
the pump has only 50,000mi on it, so i hope it is now the VP.

^^^yes you should. baby power works good for finding leaks. i had a problem with mine this last time i put injectors in. had to really crank down the lines to get them to seal.

Should see the fuel. Also the first time I did injectors on a 24V I used a needle nose to yank the tube. It marred it up enough that it would never seal again, had to get a new tube.

The last 2 times I did injectors with the 100s then the 200s I had problems with #6 well because its freakin hard to get to! with the 100s it was loping and chugging hard found out the injector line wasnt crannked down nearly enough, on the 200s (more for the OP bayes you already know this story) I didnt quite get the injector line nipple centered in the crossover tube and it was spittin diesel like crazy, simple fix. Sometimes youd be surprised how much you have to crank down on the lines to seal them.

 that is a HUGE nono im sure you know it now but if you ever slightly tear up the bowl or needle end of the crossover you screwed it up. The best technique ive learned and used is getting a small flat head screw driver and placing it gently at an angle on the threads and lightly applying pressure they pop right out everytime. easy easy easy.

50k on a pump? thats had a decent life... i bet its the vp.. hands down.

Meh theres a number of things that mimic VP failure, a pump that has had good fuel pressure since install will last much longer, OP how long have you had that FASS on there?
