bad tps?

my dads 02 will cut out on power around 2k (like you let off the gas) usually takes it a few seconds to kick back in, i pulled a tps voltage code out and im assuming that it needs to be replaced, just looking for some confirmations or other possible problems

Either a tps or a vp issue

I would say apps. I replaced mine with the Timbo Apps, and works great!

the pump is new from throughbreaddiesel and im not getting any pump codes, every pump i have had a problem with thru a pump code, tps codes and over boost codes are the only two i get,

whats the apps?

apps = tps

I had a vp issue that ended up being a short in the harness, but the symtoms were what you described and no codes til it got really bad. I would say start with the APPS first though.
