Bad Unit Bearing?

I have been hearing a squealing noise for a while, seemed to be really bad around 30-35mph.

After some figuring out, I have it tracked down to the front pass side. I took the brake caliper off to make sure it wasn't that too.

Usually when the hubs go bad they get loose when you move the tire at 12 and 6, but this one is fine, so I dunno?

Before I go spend $250 on a new unit bearing I wanted to see what you all thought.

I have to agree with you on the hub assembly.. where are you located, I can get you one cheaper with a lifetime warranty...

Idaho. I just looked it up through PartsAmerica.com and I can get an SKF one for $212.99

nate have you looked at your diff. bearings and is it always this bad or does it start when you are going down the road a little ways i am wondering if your hub isnt dry

Yeah I pulled the cover off and everything looks fine in there.

I put the suspect unit bearing on the driver's side and well see. They are both on the verge of needing to be replaced I think... course it's when I don't really have $450 :bang

I know this thread is old but I was wondering if anyone knew the size of the nut that holds the hub on, thanks
