Bad VP44???

01 100inj AirDog2 Comp. It starts everytime when it's cold. But after driving it, shut it off for 3mins and go start it back up, just turns over... Some say it's a sign of the Pump going out, some say it's Hot and the VP doesn't like heat. Now it won't start at all.

Your pump is getting old, get it hot shut it off, pour water on your pump. If it fires right up your electronics are getting old, mines starting to do it.

Already headed to the shop on a flatbed... I have a SuperPhat in the box waiting to be put on. With my setup, would a stock VP be ok or should I go ahead and put a HotRod on?

Stick with the SO VP.

Thanks Fellas. I've been noticing lately that when I'm driving it feels like its missing or hesitant and my fuel pressure will jump around a PSI or 2. Then I'll ease into it a little firmer but its like i get nothing until a certain point(pedal position)and then it's fine. I'll swap the VP first and see if it keeps doing it. If so, any suggestions?

Youll basically have same setup i got! Id get a new pump. Mine has done that almost everytime pump has been on its way out!

the SO is plenty for most set-ups. Hot rod pump wont benefit you in higher hp levels
