The Badger State Diesel Truck rules are going to be the same as the PPL Pro Street Diesel Trucks again this year. We will be required to have an air shut off and some point of attachment for the zip tie to connect the emergency kill ring to the truck this year. They don’t want to just have the kill ring hanging free with a zip tie on it. It helps keep the emergency kill from accidently activating and if the truck does shut off it will be easy to tell if it was the kill switch because the zip tie will have to be broken.
I will post what the pay outs are going to be early so everyone knows in advance. There will be at least $1600 in prize money per event given out. I don’t have the details yet on how it is split up. The points pay out fund this year was over $53K which ended up being over $1 per point. First place at an event earns you 50 points, second is 49 and so on. Attending the drivers meeting is worth another 5 points. More events are in the works for next year, so it will be very easy to earn the membership fee back and more. I don’t believe that people will be able to pay the one time pull fee over and over again like last year to participate in the events next year. If you are going to pull at more than one event you should join.
We got good feedback from the shows last year. Next year looks bright with new sponsors coming on board to help grow the sport and the club. We need to show our support by growing the membership in our class.
