Hey guys I'm in the process of building my motor and was wonding about balancing the bottom end, what I'm wanting to know is if it would necessary to get everything balanced. It will be setup just for pulling and will be turn around 5000 to 5200 rpms leaving the line. Is there anything else I need to take into consideration other than rpms? Thanks guys for the input.

Balance it. Hell if i was rebuilding a motor to run completely stock i would have the bottom end balanced.

^^ agreed, your motor will thank you. A good damper is also a must for what you are doing

If you are going to coat pistons, do it first.
Put rings on and rod bolts with pistons.

Wrist pins, pistons inside skirt area, etc..
It all depends on how much time material you are comfortable with.
It seems straight forward but I would ask around some shops for pointers...
Reputable shops that is..

Mock everything together before you coat the pistons just incase you need to shave some material off the top of the piston for proper protrusion
