can you purchase a bare block for a dmax ?? i looked in gm perf parts but didnt come up with one and find a quote bone yard motor has been less then sucessful ?? thanks, jr

Gm dosnt offer a bare block, just checked the other week hoping to start putting together a short block.

yea any help in this area would be great, im now in the market for a short block to build up considering my truck is at the dealer with possible internal damage LOL damn #3 injector went bad and tore something up and i have hardly any compression in #3 cylinder and a lil less then norm in #1.
