Ok, here's the classes we're going to have for the racing at Bash on the Bayou:
Bracket: So anyone can run no matter how fast or slow they are.
Hot Street: an 11.7 index. I picked that ET so if people break out they aren't into the safety rules required for 11.49 and faster vehicles (such as a cage), keeping with what I would consider a true daily driving street vehicle.
Hot Rod: a 10.5 index for the faster dedicated vehicles. I picked this ET so if people break out they aren't into the safety rules required for 9.99 and faster vehicles.
Unlimited: anything faster than 10.5
There are no chassis rules, weight restrictions, tire restrictions, or anything like that for any class. Only rules are to have the required NHRA safety equipment for the times you run. There will be a tech there checking.
We will also have a racer's meeting before we get started so if we deem any changes necessary (as a group) we can make them then.
Hope to see everyone out there!
