who else in here has a bd rad box i just recently installed one on my truck and am very pleased with it the most way but it will most of the time throw a code up its the one where it says something about ecm not talking with pcm but other than that it will really make the truck take off alot harder now and it will smoke more now i was guessing it was the box not letting the truck defuel now.
 
They do work good,, I have one,, but its for sale now, if anyone is looking

all bd rad's throw codes, but they clear themselves after 3-5 restarts. I've had mine for over 3yrs with no problems.

Same here. The bd rad basically cuts the connection between the two so that way the ecm doesn't defuel at all. Made a huge difference in my take off and 1-2 shift racing and top end on my dyno runs.
 
Sorry to cut you short Kevin but BD is selling the RAD now for $100.
 
Can you tell a difference between the rad and the lack of torque management on the smarty
