Many thanks to Bean's and the Dunbar dyno crew! I had a great time:rockwoot:

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Bean for having us out and putting on a great show this past sat. Big thanks to Dunbar and co. for being class acts and letting me stay on the dyno for about 30 mins!!! It was nice to be able to tune a little while. Thanks again!

I am gracious to those that could make it and as always many thanx to Dunbar and Mike for thier usuall badassidness on the dyno. Wish we could of had a few more turn out but fuel prices hurt us pretty bad this year I think.

Cant wait to get into the new shop, its gonna be pimp fo sho. Next year we expect to have the pullin track in and maby have NADM involved with a show.

Oh thanx to all who gave me rubber to blacktop the concrete!

Having recently dynoed this truck for the first time, I now notice that all the more recent CR Dodges put up the same or more HP but less torque than my VP and I got out done by a 12V in TQ but not HP. Why do the newer motors make less torque? This may not be the place for the discussion but I just noticed it. :D

Edit: And Chase doesn't count...that must be one bad mo-fo. :rockwoot:

They also make more power at lower RPM's I wonder if there is any correlation?

The lower in the rpm range that hp is made, the higher the torque. Simple math.

CR's usualy have peak HP around 2800-3000 rpm, 12V's around 2400-2600 rpm ;)

Its the way the new computers control fueling for less smoke and emisions, 12v dumps fuel and doesnt care what the boost is when you mess with the plate and stuff. Or atleast thats my guess.
