Beans Dyno day 12-13-2008

Bean's is in Woodbury, TN, about 35 miles south of Nashville.

Bean just built a new shop and I think he has his own dyno now. I may be wrong.

Anybody that went to this feel like their numbers were way off? I only hit 329hp and it should have been around 420hp or so I thought? I have seen stock trucks with just an intake and exhaust hit 320.
 
Ya numbers were way off,still a good time though and nice shop,left before the accident hope everyone involved is okay.
 
Red GTO had just put down about 490 on Nitrous then went for a joy ride. They were coming back, did a burn out, the hammered it back to the drive way to the shop and lost it before he got there. Hit a tree, cut the car in half, driver was lieing in the creek along with the front half of the car. The passenger walked away. There are pics in the general pit section.
 
Yeah I agree I beleve the dyno was a little off. I was dissapointed in my ol 12V.
My common rail turns more than it did.

No idea, First time on a dyno w/o me having problems (still actually had a code but fixed it)
 
Not sure what was up with the numbers. We dynoed an OBS with hybrids and a D66 and only hit 375! I know we need a fuel system but that was disappointing. Maybe this dyno is spot on though I don't know other than what others have said.:bang

Anyone have the results? Who won the highest hp and what was the numbers?

I have seen a few complaining about low #'s. If you feel the #'s are low for your truck you may have something else going on. The only place I can see thier being an issue is with tire spin on the higher hp trucks due to the mud. For comparison a 03 cr with nothing but Flux 2 injs did 350hp, he had no intake or programmer we only did injs to get them fixed. I agree your hp sounds low but comparing other #'s on the dyno it was not off. 6.0 with nothing but a tune did 427, right at where a DJ would be, stock late model CHarger did 270hp and is rated 300 fwhp, I would say thats on.

They dont call it the humbler for nuthin LOL.
 
i thought my numbers were good, but every one thinks there truck should have more....mine:427HP 770TQ for a stock 6.0 with ID SCT w/Xtreme race tune...now granted i had 2 runs, yes thats $150 for 2 sessions to also try a dyno file, that one only gave me a max of 389HP and not sure of TQ.
