Best dirt for good track

We need to know what percent clay, sand, etc it takes to build a good pulling track?

About 95 % Red Clay And 5 % Sand , Makes A Really Tight Track

We are going to get clay trucked in from across the state from a pit that supplies clay for the dirt tracks. Thanks for the help. Keep checking back we want to build a nice sled track to bring in the northern crowd during your off season. During the winter its like 70 on a cold day.
