I have a cummins 2.6 truck. Build motor with 13mm pump big injectors and cam making maybe 800-1000 hp. right now it has 3.55 gears with a nv5600 in it with 33x13.50x16 tires all the way around. i was thinking about putting a nv4500 in it with 5.13 gears and either keeping the front the 33x13.50x16 and running duallies in the rear or should i do 35 all the way around and still making it a dually.Just wondering if anyone can give me advice to help me out thanks

Yes do 4.88 gears and run your tires unless you can still handle more then go to 315 bfg's. I have 5.13 now with 315 tires and I want to go to 4.88 with the same hp level you are talking about.

Oh and the 4500 is lighter and the main shaft is not prone to breakage like the 5600. But you can build the 5600 with the two peice main shaft to sole the breakage issue. Run it it fifth which is direct. Quite a few guys I know run it that way.

Yea the setup I have now I just couldn't get enough track speed. I'll look into this gears. I'll probably end up keeping my tire setup do to money. But any idea if I can run 33x13.50 for a Dually or is that to wide of a tire?

Yea I have sts. I didn't wanna buy 2 more tires and then find out they don't fit. Do I need wheel spacers between the rims or just off the axle?

Depending on the offset of the wheel, but I am gonna say your gonna need spacers. About 1" would do it, it would be tight.
I was able to put 285's on wiht no spacer, they rubbed.

Are u running 17s or 16s I have 2 33 12.50/17s STSs I'd sell and anything over a 265 you'll need spacers

I'm running 305/70/17, they rub but not too bad. Stock dually inner nd eagle dually outer

I'm running 16s I was just gonna put them on stock Dually rims and call it a day. You guys think I need a spacer between the rims or just on the axle

I'm running 3157017 bfg's with a 1/2" spacer inside. stock 17" dually rims, and 4.88 gears

I have 35X12.50X16 on stock dually rims. I let the air out of the tires and then put the nuts on. Then i pump them up. I dont use spacers between them and i have a dually axle so i dont need spacers there either.
