ok guys my lift pump seems to be failing on me. my truck is still bone stock except for the straight pipe and its time to start building slowly but surely. which lift pump should i go with?

fass platnum 150... after all my airdog problems ihave two of these and its a simple install and a very quality pump and filter!

How much HP are you shooting for? Less than 600, I'd look at replacing it with the factory one. Cheap and reliable, and it bolts right in!

in the long rung looking to hit 750+ so i dont want to just get another stock one. it may take a while to get there, but thats my goal for the time being. im sure when i get there it will just keep going up, but 750 for now.

wow only 2 suggestions? man i know if i still had my 06 and been on a 3rd gen thread alot more people would have chimed in by now.

its a saturday night, not everyone is on their computers. platinum 150 is a solid pump for what you are looking for

FASS platinum 200gph with a hellman fuel sump... airdog's warranty doesn't seem nearly as good as FASS's (plus FASS almost sounds fast)

I have had no problems with my air dog 165.

FASS is a little more but has a life time warranty

Airdog 2 uses factory hook ups

FASS (son) beat Airdog (father) in the courts when airdog sued FASS

personally I don't think you could go wrong with either of them.

Yeah it's a big family mess. My airdog goes to my dual feed and the draw straw so no factory Hook ups and it has a lifetime warranty also ( this was offered by air dog first) but now either or will work fine.

if your all stock right now and its gonna take you a while to get to 600HP. why not just put a cheap stock lift pump on and put your money towards other parts to get you close to 600 then step up to the airdog or fass? either one is a good pump and i believe there is another pump out there called an A1000 that some have used before.

Aeromotive pump very good pump but to use it you need an external regulator which aeromotive sells

Quit whining and search. That is my suggestion. Your truck is stock on the site they chose to call Competitiondiesel. I lurked and searched until I thought I was worthy to play with the big dogs. Still not sure I'm worthy but gaining knowledge by hiding and watching. You will know when you are ready to play when your hp goal is no longer a number. Your build goes on and on until bored with it or its broke beyond repair, find new parts and start again.

Oh, when I was looking at airdogs a while back, all I saw was a 1 year warranty. but it's not too uncommon for people to give multiple warranties

good to know

If it ever gets finished, dtt is building a belt drive pump that looks promising.
