I'm selling a 1st gen that I've got a silver bullet on.(62/74/14) I want to save it for my 01, but I'm debating on buying an h1c or hx35 to put back on the 1st gen or pulling the 35 off my 01. Right now I have no programmer and stock injectors with an AirDog. Will the 01 handle dd duties for a while with the silver bullet, or should I buy something to sell the 1st gen with and wait?

That's not a silver bullet.

Why would you say that? Its listed right on II's site as a silver bullet 62. Regardless of what you want to call it, I just wanted to know if it would even spool up before I get some more fuel.

As Adam said it, your gonna need more fuel.

Just set it on the shelf and spend 250-300 on a stock turbo and put it on.

It's still tax season. Be a couple months before it settles back down.

I ran a old sled puller on a stock 24v, only thing else was a cone air filter. It was a 66-65-14 and it ran pretty good i thought on top end for stock. I out ran a 12v that had just a little fuel turned to it. And could pull a trailer long as i keep it cranked up. It did alot better than my old 12v with the same turbo for everyday driving, 12v surgered alot!

62/74 and 66/65 are two completely different animals.

There were a couple sets of 7x0.12's for sale on here. Them and a timing box would probably work well with your charger.

There is no reason why you "can't" run that turbo on an otherwise stock truck. Rather than wasting money on another stocker, use that money toward injectors.

S364/71 or a GT3788R stage 3. That S366 will be laggy with a low stall converter or rowing gears. Done a few 12V/24VP p7100 trucks with the S366/74 T-4, without a 4gsk its not a good daily driver.

For a fun play truck its fun, just go with a higher stall converter and have fun.:pop:
