Finally, we lowerd the quad cab in place last night. the fit is going to work out real nice, We might need to shave approx 7" off the front of the bed however, no big deal. more pics here http://www.bigbaddodge.com/BigBadDodgeII.html

looks great Scott, cant wait to see it on the track.....will it be red with gold flames??? i think a mega cab woulda looked sweet, ive been wondering how long it would take before someone used a crewcab truck body on a tube chassis.......cant wait to see it run.......
 
Scott that looks totally awesome! Is that a burgundy color? It's hard for me to tell on this computer at work if it's Red or burgundy. I can't wait to see it live and in the flesh!! When's your first event?
 
have you decided on the paint scheme yet? gonna make it reminiscent of the Original BBD???

The cab is burgundy, though it appears the front driver's door is off another truck? It is red....

I had a really neat paint idea but I am canning it as it would have been to cost prohibitive, it required lots of air brushing. So I am going back to the sixty style reverse color orange flames like the originaly BBD but the base color is going to be the stock Dodge inferno red metalic its darker then the other truck was if you haven't seen the inferno red.

I just added a couple more pics of the pre-runner fenders and hood sitting on it. Its going to look pretty mean :)

I can't wait to see it when done. It looks like it will turn out awesome!
 
awesome pics! Looks like the truck is coming along well. You going to add anything to the fender on the rear, like the megacab flares to help add to the look?
