I did a auto to 5 speed swap. I know it had a billet converter installed by a previous owner, but dont know what kind or what brand. He said it was a sun coast converter.I just want to clarify before i try to sell so i know im right... Don't have a clue about a torque converter. Any info on how to find out what it is would be greatly appreciated ...

I'm no rocket scientist, but some identifying marks it has, color, something like that. Or better yet, this awesome thing called a picture.

But suncoast has a different design that bolts to the flex plate. Maybe that is an older one

from phone

Maybe call suncoast and ask them if the numbers mean anything to them.....that will tell you pretty quick if its theirs or a cheap one

My guess would be a dayco billet single disk or sumthing close to it, had one for a lil bit in my 04.5. Wasn't worth the material it was made from

Suncoast single is my guess.
