This for those who are running bilstien shocks on their lifted trucks.

I ordered a set of bilstien 5100's for my truck and they can't be the correct ones. Fully uncompressed they still don't make it to the lower shock mount with the truck on a lift.

What I am asking is any of you that have the same shocks for 4-6 inches of lift can you post what the id numbers are on your shocks?

I am in the process of talking with Top Gun Customz because that is where I ordered them from, and its not getting me anywhere. I just want to see if they shipped the wrong shocks or if I need shocks made for more lift.

Thanks for your time.

I thought 5150's were for lifted trucks.

Thanks

Download applicationguide to get info about part# and liftingheights!

I found the ones I was sent BE5-6646-H6 & BE5-6647-H1 made for 4 inches of front lift and 2 inches of rear lift. Exactly why they will not fit. I got a hold of TGC and they are trying to find a set of the 5125s that fit my requirements as far as ride height and suspension travel.
Thanks to those who posted.

Hope you do not drive the truck in the snow/salt season.

After one winter season here in PA the Bilstein Zinc finish is ruined and they look worse than ANY painted shock I ever had on my truck.

Looks like I am going to send them back in exchange for a set of Skyjacker nitros and be done with it.
