biodiesel in a 6.0?

does anyone know if you can run bio diesel in an 03 6.0 powerstroke. i race a cummins but my dad has an 03 6.0. i'm not real familiar with the 6.0 yet. will it have any affect on the injectors or anything else. ( i doubt it will hurt anything, but i figured i better get another opinion). thanks guys

I wouldn't run it. My brother did and he ended up with bad injectors.

i grade of bio we ran b30 in a 6.0 for a year with no problems at all

I run B100 all the time, no issues here.

i should be just fine then, we have b10 in are farm fuel.

A lot of it depends on who is making it and how well it is filtered.

Yeah Biodiesel is much more susceptable to microbiological attack and such. If your buying from a commerical dist, your problay ok cause the NBB/States/Federal Gov, regualtes them(to some extent). At the 10% level your not going to notice awhole lot. Youe fuel economy should remain the same. You get the added benefit of increased luberication.
