blow off valve questions

hello this is gabe from nebraska and i have a 98 12v that im putting a blow off valve on cause it always turbo surges... so i bought the hks or ssqv blow off valve and i was wondering how to hook it up because their instruction manuel is way to simple for me and i dont know how to hook it up... does anyone know how to hook it up or know where i can i find out how to hook it up

my turbo is an aftermarket 62 mm and when i let off it really quick it surges so i bought this blow off valve to prevent that and i did research it and it said it would work but im having a hard time figuring out how to hook it up with the directions they gave me

He's giving you sh!t. Just put it in the a charge pipe and wire it to the tps so it opens when you lift your foot.

This is the best I can help. Looks pretty straight forward. Will just have to figure out which wire to tap on the tps. Should be a ground, a 5V reference wire and the variable signal wire(this is the one you want to tap) Everything else is 12V and ground and boost reference.

ya thats what im doing but the directions i got do not help at all cause they dont say anything on how to hook it up thats what im trying to figure out cause ik how to wire it but it doesnt show me how to hook up the hoses with the pickup so it will work properly... im just trying to keep the valve from opening up while im spooling up so it doesnt explode the turbo

honestly, how much does turbo surge really hurt? If it was that big of a deal, wouldnt the after marketers that sell turbos include a blow off valve?

Ask your bearings how much compressor surge hurts.

does the boost drive controller go off of 5v or 12v
 
If you're talking about the actual box/ module, that illustration is ignition on 12v.
