Over the last 2 weeks starting to get a little more blowby. I can now see a faint puff here and there at night time while at a stoplight. Engine does not burn or lose oil at all, idle is smooth. Now my question is can worn out oil or possibly valves out of adjustment cause this? Truck runs absolutely great but just wondering since I have noticed a little more than I am use to. Valves have never been touched and motor has 110,000 on it. This is in my 99. Thanks

Meant to put this in 98-02 section. I have fat fingers and a phone that is apparently not big enough lol.

Also a blow by member. motor burnt all three gallons of oil on 20 mile highway trip. Good look with it check oil everyday to be safe

That's the weird thing. Mine doesn't burn a drop in 3000 miles. I am starting to think valves need adjustment. Guess I can make a manogram and measure blowby

also check your valve guide seals. My where junk i changed them. Motor still blew up haha . Defiantly check valve guide seals

Lol screw it. Going to pipe the blowby tube into a check valve into the exhaust and let it eat

Lol if you make a manometer you could measure crankcase pressure. If you have a mamogram you would have breasts.

Lol damn auto correct lmao. So my question still stands can out of adjustment valves cause excessive blowby?

No. But worn turbocharger seal most certainly will add crankcase pressure. and if you had a mechanical air compressor on your auxillary drive could also certainly add crankcase pressure.
