Blown motor Suggestion for what I should do?

Something catastrophic has gone wrong with my motor. I would like to replace it with a rebuilt one and get back on the road. Does anyone have a references for a mechanic in the Los Angeles area? What about a motor for sale? I might have a broken 1995 3500 contractors truck for sale cheap, it is in Pasadena.
