So my thought to be stock transmission had this jewel in it. It seems to lock up and couple well...

Ideas on who makes this?

:ft:

I think Transtars' converters are that color. Just cause it's painted don't mean someone made it, it could have a can of "rebuild" sprayed on it. Atleast it's still working good!

Torquemaster converters are that color also, they are a stock replacement converter, have seen a few killed in one day by a lock up switch, dont beat on it

LOL! Well whatever it is, I have a garmon valve body feeding it and an ATS lockup controller.... and a bunch of full throttle forced lockups w/ the controller

its doing well so far whatever it is...

Im over 550ft/lbs by a bit ;)

Well whatever it is, I'm going to run it until it smokes. Then a garmon single disk will take its place...

Phils converters @ Garmons are a pretty blue also. His are done in blue anodized metal flake but, with some internals that you wouldn't believe :ft:

hahah! well so far its a transstar/torquemaster/TCS/garmon converter;)

Im going to beat the holy hell out of it then put in a "hold my beer" single disk converter to go with my "cats ass" valve body ;)

Interesting, my dad said his is blue in his truck and he has no clue what it is...
