The truck will lay down like it's going into limp sometimes. I noticed the other day the oe boost deal was missing that I had tied up. I built a new fooler using a 150 ohm resistor.
It won't do this all the time but when it does it's like a dead throttle. The boost and heat will come up like normal just no acceleration. It somtimes will go away after I stop and shut it off for awile. Nothing about the problem is very consistent.
I'm leaning toward the boost fooler?? Should be higher/lower resistance?
I haven't checked rail presure and that stuff yet.
I have replaced the sensor on the cp3 today. The p0148 code led me to this.
Thanks.

the only thing a boost fooler does is fool the ECM so you don't throw codes. The truck should make all the boost it can with or without it.

The P0148 is a very common code also that doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. It could be set from something else going on.

Have you tried disconnecting the Edge to see what happens without it ?

Yeah I've ran it with and without edge. If it's reading over boost at the MAP doesn't the boost fooler tell it no.?

It only fools the ECM to make it think there's less boost being produced than there really is.

It's possible your TPS is bad or going bad ??? Have you tried to pull codes from it ? Sometime they're there but don't display.

I've thought about the tps and really don't want to if ya catch my drift. I haven't seen any codes relating to the tps. It was on the oficial dodge computer today, if that counts for anything.
If the fooler dosn't show enough or too much resistance then could the map read too much boost and screw with things?
Thanks

My boost fooler is home made (patent pending) and I'm not sure if 150 ohm is too much or not enough

yeah I know what you mean.

Yeah, I suppose if the resistor wasn't doing what you want it too, it could be defueling. You should be seeing a overboost code if that was the case though.

I'm pretty sure the Edge already boost fools ??? so maybe you're causing a problem there. I don't know what the resistance should be. You could call one of the turbo shops out there and ask. Most all have the resistor to ship with their turbo

btw... if you had the truck on a Starscan at the dealer, that should have told you exactly what the problem was.
