Boost Fooler on '03?

I'm getting ready to put an '04.5 HE351 turbo on my '03. It has an adjustable wastegate on it, modified from the electronic one. I am running a Quad Xzillaraider on the truck. If I remember right, the Xzilaraider does boost fooling, so another boost fooler would be redundant, right? Or will I start popping overboost codes? Thanks.

just depends, it prolly wont throw a code, i dont know what the quad fools to though, but remember, even though you have a boost fooler, thats all it is doing is fooling the comp. you have to manually disable the wasgate for more boost, no electronics on the 03, i noticed you changed it out to manual on the turbo, thats good, but only thing you can do, is test and see what happens...:rockwoot:
