Boost fooler

I've had a boost fooler on my truck for years didn't even think about till someone told me it wasn't needed. Will that mess with the program? Is that why I have smoke issues? Does Smarty do the boost fooling?

It only drops the map reading by 10%. Imo no need for it

It dosen't really make much of a difference imo on the performance side of it but on my 06 with twins it limits the map reading to the ecm to 42 psi so it wont throw the overboost condition code and go into limp mode. If I remember right its p0246. With the compounds I wastegate them around 62 but the computer never sees over 42.
