I drilled and tapped the Compressor cover of the s400 close to the flange, where it is nearly 1/4" thick.

You could always weld a 1/4" round plate onto your cold pipe then drill and tap it too.

I didn't even think about drilling in to the compressor cover, is there any down fall to doing that way

Tap into the intake plenum. Will read what is going into the head. Best place IMO.

I think he is wantin to see what the primary is doin. But u also gotta remember that the primary is gonna push more flow than pressure. When. My top makes 20psi my bottom makes 5psi the turbo housig is a good place

My fault. Did not read correctly. Was refering to overall boost location. Are the turbos gated or non?

no ill effects..... I got a 1/8" NTP plug from the hardware store and put teflon tape on it and turned it in until it was flush with the inside so it wouldn't disturb air flow. I would see no reason to not do it.

Look just under the wastegate actuator. You will see where I welded a bung.

I was just woundering if it would matter if it was close to the top or bottom turbo thanks for all the info. shane

should not matter will most likely get same readin in all locations

I put mine by the inlet of my secondary in the pipe, that why I can move it between my drive pressure port and primary boost port easily depending on what I need to see.
