My s366 wont light fully until 2600 and that's in 4th and 5th.itw a 66/79/.91ar. I'm running 27* timing with my pistons cut. .10 off the top and 3/16 outa the bowls but I wouldn't think it would cause that much of a delay? I'm thinkn my ic has a leak.but not for sure any idea?

wont know til you test it. how much boost pressure are you getting out of it?

i reading the boost at the intake horn or turbo side? if its at the intake horn/manifold you might have something else going on. its possible to still have a boost leak but sounds like you dont. like i said you wont know til you test it.

head or block been decked? what head gasket? does it smoke like a freight train? might lower the timing and get the spray back in the bowl. what DV's you running? might have too much fuel and just flooding it out. might check compression too.

Its apart right now n getn o ringed it a decompressed motor took 3/16 outa the bowls and. 10 off the top of pistons its shooting inside the bowls contagious comp cut dvs. I would think it should light about 2-2200 with the t4. 91 housing

You can hear mine coming on around 1800-2000 and really gets going around 2100-2200. That amount of fuel and lower compression is possibly an issue running only a single charger. Did it run worse at the 22* that your sig shows?

Lit a lil sooner but didn't come on as hard and didn't want to rev up had a flutter to it and popped I gave it more timing and it came outa it

i am running a S366 66/71/.88 ar its a t4 housing thats undivided and is supposed to spool like a turd.

79 turbine is pretty large. That ain't helping spool-up. I would switch to a 71 or 74.

is yours divided or undivided? i have been suggested to run divided and you might think about the spool flange if you have the divided housing also.

Look in the dodge comp section for a thread about SDX's spool flange by nickTF. He its running a larger single with the flange. I think by the time you buy a new housing and wheel it would be close to what the flange would cost.

Are you sure its a 79mm turbine? Most of those box chargers come with the 74mm turbine.

The high timing and low compression arent helping you but i would still think it should come on a little sooner. Test the IC for leaks, then after you get the truck back together build a leak tester that clamps to the intake side of the turbo and pressurize it that way to check for leaks.

Ok I should have it together n a couple weeks after the machine work is done. And yea its a 79 turbine. And ill check into those spool flanges hopefully have it together n b done in time to pull
