Boostlab Bullseye s475

shopping around looking for a 75/87/1.10 t6 and found boostlab selling bullseye power s475's. one is a 75/83/1.10 and when you option it to an 87/1.10 the price jumps to $1300. the other s475 they show starts as 75/96/1.32 and when option it to a 87/1.10 its only $783.
anybody have any experience with boostlab, or these turbos? thinking about calling both boostlab and bullseye before I do anything.

Sounds like a heck of a deal for the 87mm turbine, usually they're $1000+. I'd give them a call. For a VP or P7100 truck the 87 1.10 is a great primary hot side for a street truck. Common rails can get away with the cheaper 96 1.32 but the 87 would still be a blast.

There are a few 87mm turbines, the JD box unit is what a lot of aftermarket manufacturers use, which is not the same as what is being called the J-type wheel.

The J-type is the 87/81 right? I know that one flows more and still has good response but isn't the old 87/80 still a good option for a responsive primary? Looks like the new 400sxe series is gonna have a 1.15 T6 96/88 housing, that could be another option if it will fit on the old cheap 75/96 box units.

Actually the exducer is closer to 82mm, but yes. The older JD 80/87mm is cast clipped so it will be a bit slower to respond, but I have seen better power from that blade type. The real benefit BW is banking on with the J-type is the larger height of the inducer and overall higher trim. The 1.15AR housing will be a nice addition when it becomes available.

1.15A/R T6 88 exducer housing is rated just over the 1.25A/R of the 87mm turbine and it’s a lot more responsive than what we get from the 87 wheel.
