hey i just bought a 12v to replace my common rail in my fummins conversion. the truck it came out of had a tst egt gauge and a boost gauge so that kinda got me thinking... so when i got the motor home i looked a little closer it had a boost elbow and a drilled airbox. so i was curious and checked the plate. it has a 11 or at least thats what the plate says.... is that a good one? for a 6 speed? or would i be better off buyin a different one or just not running one? also should i slid it all the way forward? it was centered when i took it out also what is the best place to set the afc housein it was slid forward.

but i did all that and did the KDP fix tonight just trying to get it all ready to go in smoothly this weekend i hope.

thanks in advance guys

If its a 12 valve, i'd run a smart/quad adrenaline stack. I've had good personal experience with this. Take out the fuel plate and install a vp44/cp3 hybrid. Thank me later, i don't have time now.

Red is the pull coil wire, goes to a relay triggered by the starter solenoid. White is the switched 12v, from the ignition. Black is ground.

thanks dick head i asked for a little help not a smart ass

I'd try the plate full forward, see how you like it.

Mod the AFC for full travel both ways, and set it up with air, not by starwheel turns and how far forward.

the 11 is alright, keeps egts down. but if your power hungry just remove the afc arm and the plate alltogether and controll the smoke with your foot.

just search and you will find a bucket load of info
