Brake Shudder ???

Got a buddy with an 01 2500, When he gets on the brakes it shudders real bad. We pulled the front tires off and the roters are fine. Im thinking It might be the ABS. Is there any god way to check this? Any help will be appreciated.

Hey Lynn you'd better double check them rotors they may appear fine but could be crystalized or warped we can turn them at my shop if they're not in too bad of shape. Some other things to look at is sticking calipers, pin hole in rubber brake line or a bad abs sensor( normally it will trip the abs sensor cause light in dash to come on) and don't rule out the rear brakes causing the shutter also. Give me a holler.
