whats a good type of rotors and pads? i looking for something for towing.

I have heard nothing but good things about hawk brake pads. you can get them in different compounds based on intended use. I have a set of LTS compound pads but my stock pads are still holding up pretty well. I did hear break in is critical with these pads.
 
hawk lts for sure!!!
brake in is easy but this beast stops! 10 times better then stock.. tire rack sells the for like 75 bucks as well
 
Powerslots and Hawks make my 2001 on 38s stop better than my stock 2007.

yup! get the cryo'd powerslots tho.
its a GREAT combo!
 
Yeah, I meant to say Cryo'd.....that's what I put on the 01 F-350 and the 99 F-150 (which stops super nice since it's on close to stock size tires).
 
Tire Rack has the Frozen Rotors and also the Cryo'd Powerslots. Best prices I've found on them.
