The pump has been plumbed I cut the draw straw to short so no fuel has been ran through it.has all the lines and connections. My buddy hooked it to a test bench it drained a 5 gallon bucket fast.but a seal went bad on the pulley shaft.called dtt they said it's an easy and fast fix they can walk u through it the seal is 8 dollars.

I would like 350 plus shipping or trade for a smarty
Thanks Rob

So a seal went bad first time you used it and DTT refused to warranty it? If that is true, that makes my future lift pump choices much easier, LOL.

Seals can be sourced locally for about $2 if I recall.
If the belt is over tight, the seal leaks. That's what I did.

Im more curious how long it spun dry before the short draw straw was figured out

Oh ok that's better than shipping one in haha.i had slack in the belt but it could have been to tight

I asked on the forums after it didn't prime the second time.and did it a couple more times after that and narrowed it down.
But as soon as it hit the test bench it didn't hesitate any to empty the bucket
