hi, i taxed someone for this garrett and am considering using it for the primary in a set of twins.

garrett model tv-75 - not a ball bearing unit, but still...

here are the specs:

compressor:

102.3 mm x 76.6 mm (extended tip tech)

.75 a/r

turbine:

99.1 mm x 86.4 mm

.96 a/r

never done twins so help me out here. gonna have carl make all the piping regardless if i keep this turbo or not. would you please try to explain to me, someone that has never driven twins, how it would work under a 62/65-13 s.s.????

truck is a '97 215 pump with a 10 plate (can turn that into a 100 or a zero if need be)

ddp stg 4 inj @ 20.5°

carl recommends a 75/96 1.32

how would this garrett compare? daily driving? towing?

thanks, don

Sounds a lot like a s400, but the exhaust housing is a little tighter than what is normally used. I'm guessing it doesn't have a wastegate?

With the exception of the too small turbine housing, it should work great.

twins? how bout a single!? A gate at the very least would be needed i'd guess to run that small of a turbine housing and make lots of power.

What is that...a small a/r 4202?

Get a bigger exhaust housing on it and it'll work fine.

I can't find those exact specs on Garrett's site anywhere....it would be a bit bigger than a 42xx but smaller than a 45xx...I'm just curious as to what it is.

thanks

its a tv-75

itsa $2400 list price turbo

lol

how much would a ex housing cost?

.398"

how tall is it on the bw 76.6 mm wheel?

(or what ever they make that is closest to that wheel)

The 6-blade wheel pictured is non extended tip.

it stands almost .400 tall

my 64mm from htt is only .280

that one is supposed to be ett so i did the math and proportionally it sure seemed to be...

if you say its not then its not

could someone please tell me how tall the fins are in a ett s-400???

lynn is gonna pull his housing off later this week and measure for me but someone has to have one in their shop

its one v-band clamp a some calipers

please

thanks, don
