broke in with dino-oil switch to synthetic ?

broke my new motor in with dino 15w40 a bottle of lucas break-in additive and a bottle of zddp.... 250 miles of varied load, no idling and a bit of towing to seat the rings.... so far so good, no blow by and it runs awsome...

too soon to switch it to synthetic for the rest of its life ?

maybe run 1000miles then switch ?

I wouldn't go to a synthetic until at least 10,000 miles on the dino.

That 10,000 miles on the dino, I would be working it kind of hard at that.

well its mostly going to be hwy driving from B.C to Alberta, lots of mountain driving with big hills... im sure i can find a slip tank to fill up for extra weight, maybe even an old core motor to strap down back there
