That piece isn't important is it? Mine broke in the same place, i just threw it on the scrap pile.

Old man snowbird pulling 5th wheel said he felt a bang. He wasn't far into the trip and turned around and went to dealer, still pulling the fiver.

LOL, tech thought it was converter bolts. then they pulled the pan.LOL

Old man pulled out his checkbook and bought new engine, 24,000 installed.

I bought core for a couple pieces for a conversion.
 
I've only seen that happen on a hydro locked engine! Unless you swole it then all cards are off the table!
 
Looks like it ran fractured for a while. It's hard to tell if that's polishing on the face on my phone.

Yes it did. He drove it to the dealership while pulling a 5th wheel.

Even with a crank broke in 2, It could still pull the truck and 5th wheel:clap:
 
I have seen that 3 times on 5.9 and probalbly 5 times in 6.7 engine. All but one of the trucks were standard shift...

24k is a rip. I was looking into long blocks and philly freightliner quoted 7k. Dont get 24 maybe 10/11 but not 24
