i've got a 24V long block that I can ship your way for less than 3 to 4 grand....all it needs is front cover to be put on and some small odds and ends. But was a good runner when pulled.

no i have a motor thats the most i want to spend in parts for it as in upgraids

You need the crank sensor for the tach and alternator to work.

well how do i put one in could i just get a 01 ecm and run a cam sensor only im out of ideas on this i may just buy another block

i am using my 99 24v block and crank in my 12v build to keep the crank sensor.

Not sure about swapping in a newer ecm, but then some of the other sensors are different.

99 models have a crank and a cam sensor both. you can run just the cam sensor and be just fine... just go unplug the crank sensor and check for yourelf... just to make sure.

98.5 and 99 (not sure about the 00), get the signal off of the crank, you do need the crank sensor.

thats right im sorry... on my 99 that cracked the block i put a 01 model block in and ran the crank sensor wires to the cam sensor and kept my 99 ecm and harness.
