when should i start worrying about my bottom end? girdle, main studs, heavy duty rod bolts, fluidampr. things like that. my horsepower goal is 600 and but i will be sled pulling so high rpm's are going to be an issue somewhat. any help is appreciated :thankyou2:

At 600 HP ,high rpm will not be a problem. You won't have enough air to spin much above 3500 down track.
You can run a stock bottom end.

I know of several that are 700 to 800 HP and run a stock bottom end sled pulling. Leaving the line at 5k+ and carrying 4kish without a problem. How long they will stay together, who knows, but at least one season that is for sure.

ok, ya i was thinking i probably wont be leaving the line much over 4k and wont turn more than 4 going down the track. well i guess that means i can spend money else where. thanks guys

lol 1000 horse isnt comin anytime soon, im 18 yrs old and this is my dd. im not ready to compete with the 2.6 guys yet, but someday i hope
