I did some looking around and I found a "J-Hook" made by bully dog. Does anyone know how it works, and better does somebody have one that could give me a review on it to let me know if its worth the money?

i had a BD j hook it didnt help me much. I have heard people just getting a small turnbuckle at a hardware store and putting it on there to get more boost

dont waste your money. Just run bailing wire around the rod and back to something sturdy and get it tight and that will keep the wastegate from opening at all. I ran mine this way for a couple of years before i got a new turbo. I think i gained like 8 or 10 pounds of boost. Top end was alot better.

If you're just gonna run your stock turbo, then yes, the j-hook helps out a bunch. The nice thing about the Bully Dog hook is that you can adjust it to the pressure that best suits you.
When I had my HY35 and the Adrenaline I could do 48psi  with the j-hook tightened all the way. I adjusted it down to about 38 and left it. You can do the turnbuckle thing or wire it shut as mentioned, but you don't have any adjustment if you need it. If you're not concerned with overboosting, then just do one of those methods.

just get two turnbuckles from the hardware store and hook them together seems to work just fine.

Thanks for all the info folks. I think I'll hit the hardwrae store first and see how it goes.
