i have a bully dog 6" exhaust that im looking to take off my truck sounds great, and is in good shape but i just wanna go back to a 4" or 5" exhaust with a muffler this has a muffler but at 6" the muffler it has doesn't do much except make it sound mean. im looking to get around $300 for it. or would trade it for a 4" exhaust system minus the down pipe. doesn't have to be stainless or anything thing fancy plain aluminized steel is fine.

yah like forrest said its aluminized, and it sells for 806 new from www.thoroughbreddiesel.com which i have found they have some of the best prices out there or are right there with everyone else. i really want a 4 or 5" exhaust minus a down pipe for my system and would prefer not too ship. but will for the right deal. cause shipping is gonna be a lot for this sucker it weighs near 100lbs if not over.
 
curious why on earth you'd want to get rid of it? you can switch it up if it's too loud for you. I run 5" off my big turbo back to about the axle, and then I run the 6" bullydog tailpipe. You can sell off lengths of 6" to guys wanting to make black stacks or whatever

its very tempting, but im not sure how many pieces this exhaust breaks down into since i've never taken it apart i bought it from my brother who bought stacks and when we switched it to my truck we only broke it into two or 3 pieces so to actually make it fit into a box would be a challenge. and it weighs a lot more then a 4" exhaust does so shipping on my side would be a lot more i think.

i want something not so deep, and a different tone, i did have a full 4" exhaust straight piped at 1 point until i pancaked the over the axle piece 4 wheeling. so i kinda wanna go back to a 4" exhaust even tho thats louder actually. but its a different tone. quieter at idle which is important for me.
 
idk, about that then im buying reducers and stuff. also to anyone insterested i will trade the exhaust for a set of ddp .022 delivery valves plus a little cash, or a set of ddp stage 2 or 3 injectors.
 
im just gettin tired of having an extremely loud truck, i think a normal 4" exhaust with a muffler will suit me best for the winter especially seeing as how i'll be doing snow removal this winter, so leaving my house at 2 or 3 am with a 6" exhaust is not gonna be too cool with all the neighbors so i think a regular mbrp or diamond eye exhaust will be a nice change. and with the amount of work im gonna have in the next coming weeks with leaves it's not gonna be too bad, and i have almost a full 4" exhaust anyways, i just need a tailpipe section i think, and muffler so i should be all set anyway. :)
 
Ryan, Im tempted to trade ya my 4" for it but id have to hear it first...
 
that's cool man, I can understand wanting to quiet it down... I'd line up mufflers under the truck or put twins on it before I got rid of that 6" tailpipe! :p

you don't see too many 6" tailpipes on trucks. :)
 
so anyone in the new england area want to trade a 6" exhaust for a 4" or 5" system with a muffler only way i'll ship it is you wanna pay for the shipping cause im not paying to have this beastly exhaust shipped, but do still want a 4" or 5" muffled exhaust.
 
possibly intrested i have a 4"silverline dual 409 stainless set up muffler is removed but i can get a 4" muffler for around $55 if you could sendme a pick of what it looks like from the back of the truck
 
i could post a pic, but i don't think it would fit a extended cab long bed unless you swapped a shortbed onto your truck.
