busted brake line!

i know this may be a stupid question.i got a busted rear brake line in between the frame and fuel tank, and was wondering what to do?(put short piece in or get whole brake line)thank you

Scrap the truck and buy a new one...





:hehe: It's your choice...Either get yourself a new piece of line, a double flaring tool, a few nuts and two couplers, and fix it accordingly....OR, take the line off of each end and replace the entire line.

Why did it break?? If it got pinched then replace just a section, if its rusted out, then replace the whole thing.

I just replaced what was rusted on mine when it broke. It was an easy fix.

Same happened to me. Same spot. Just replaced the section that blew out.

Most of the time they fail due to rust then they blow. Classic tube sells complete stainless preformed line kit for 250.00 or so. You can get separate lines as well.
