im guessin that the thing under the turbo on the side of the block is a htr for the trans

i want to bypass it when i install my new trans

whattya think...im gonna splice in some new hard lines wit compression fittings and ss tubing

any reason why it wont work??

Use good rubber hose, hard lines are more of a pita than they're worth.

I just pulled the roll off the shelf to see what it was, it's Goodyear InstaGrip. I used it on my truck and friends truck and it's holding up well. It's made to work with push lock fittings but if you want a real professional factory installed look, use crimp sleeves with standard barbed nipple fittings like you find at the hardware store.

I did this when I went to twins, and if I had to do it again, I would ditch the SS braided line (too expensive) for some good rubber.

i got alotta choicew here werkin in a factory so i might go with csome compression fitting to barb to hose...hose dont crack from vibration either

thanks

I opted for SS lines myself into a remote cooler. There's only 3 of them so it wasn't all that expensive. I suppose rubber would be a lot less but, it just doesn't look as good :-)
