When I first got the truck I had issues with vacuum leaks and decided to eliminate the vacuum actuator on the front axle replaced it with the manual cable. Now two years later I am having issues with it staying engaged. Have checked the cable and the sleeve on the axle, both are still good.

The issue is with a loaded trailer or hard runs with the truck it keeps disengaging. Only thing I haven't checked is the forks, assumed since it still engages that it's fine.

No trailer and normal driving it remains engaged, but when loaded it keeps popping out.

Anyone else have this issue?

The nuts on either side of the fork maybe loose and your only getting partial engagement

Will check that when I get back from "middle of nowhere" Oklahoma this weekend. Thought about making it solid and converting to manual lockout hubs.

Ok may not buy the kit. Don't think it's worth $1300-2000. Guess I'll look more into my issue first.
