Well guys I have my 95 dually in a bunch of different pieces at the moment in the process of doing a swb conversion as well as drw to srw as well, and to top it all off a new p7100, upgrade to airdog 150, and new injectors.
My question is I have a brand new in box set of caltracs that were ordered for my 07 common rail and never installed just wondering if they will fit on my 95 since my 07 is nearly stock again and they arent needed.
 
That is exactly what I wanted to hear I planned on calling calvert tommorow to make sure but now I know I should go dig them out tommorow morning and put em on while I have a few days off.
 
NO! They will not fit. The bars for a 2nd gen are shorter than the 3rd gens. I know I have a set of Caltracs on my 2nd gen, and a set of bars for a third gen laying in the shop. The 3rd gen bars are longer. Also they have different size bottom axle plates to accommodate different axle tube sizes, I.E D70's, D80's, AAM, etc.

Ya, didn't want ya to tear it apart and find out the hard way. You can call them and see if they'll trade you a set of bars even up and ask about the axle plates too.
 
Ya im gonna call them and order a set for the 2nd gen tommorow I have a few people interested in the 3rd gen set. And its already torn down at the moment anyways for a swb job.
 
i looked on calverts website and they dont have anything listed for a cummins. WTF. who sells these and how much are they for a 2nd gen?

For my 2wd. it's part number 5500. 339 plus 50 for new square bolts and shipping and handling. :rockwoot:
