cam bearings

are the cam bearings for a billet cam anything special?who has them.
 
The bushings, not bearings, are all the same. It does'nt mater if you have a roller or flat tappet cam. You need to take it to a good machine shop, and they will take care of it.
 
The actual word for them is bearing if you want to get technical it's a "Friction sleeve bearing" used for camshaft support.

To install them the machine shop is going to have to use a process called a line-bore or line-hone, all the camshaft journals will be done all at once with the line-bore and will allow for the extra camshaft bearings.

i am wondering are they bored true or are they tapered or what?what bearings are being used?
