I bought a cam off of Ebay a while back, and supposedly it was a PDR - well it isnt a PDR cam according to PDR - sooo - Ebay strikes again

It is definitely a regrind but whose?

Numbers engraved on the cam are as follows if anyone would recognise them

15.26
CD FPNK USA
3942567
03/24/01

thanx in advance for any help

well just for fun i did a search.no dice.i googled the part #.did a search with other sites drew a blank sorry.

that is what I am wondering as it isnt too far different from the numbers on my stock cam

Me thinks i have been E - took on Ebay

you would think so, but usually there is other numbers added by the cam grinder to give some kinda reference or recognition

Those are the only numbers i could find

Another point is the factory cams i have are stamped numbers whereas this one is engraved

what are the stock specs for lift on the intake and exhaust on a early 24v and I will put my dial indicator on it and check it

I just took a vernier to the cam out of a 2k I have laying around, so they won't be bang on, but will give you a good idea. I measured the #4 and #6 cylinder.

Intake base is 1.637", lobe height is 1.871", total lift of 0.234".

Exhaust base is 1.517", lobe height is 1.810", total lift of 0.293".

stock 24 valve core numbers 108 LSA

so i measured and got the following

1.466 - 1.750 and 1.566 - 1.794 for a lift of .228 and .284 which is even less than yours

stocker?

curious how does this compare with stock 1st gen and 2nd gen figures
If it is more than 1st gen I can get away with it till I get another cam

Yours would have more duration, I would think. If I had a set of v-blocks and a degree wheel, I could give you duration specs on it too, but I haven't gotten a set from work just yet.:evil

just measured my other cam and the numbers work out to 255 and 269 lift so more intake less exhaust
