Ok so i am starting a different cam thread cuz the other one is outa hand and way off topic

Ok so forget the various cam manufacturers - lets discuss actual specifications for cam timing, overlap, and phasing, for best power for a particular use.

Lets keep the discussion for the moment on the 12v only, as this will keep all the electronics out of the equation.

Assume an exhaust ported head and 40 - 50 psi regulated boost. truck weighs average 7500 lbs and runs a 3:55 gear and an automatic - pretty much your average street truck

So for a daily driver with a decent set of stix, and a 2.5 or so charger with an automatic, planning on doin a bit of pulling - maximum rpm 3200-3300

What cam specs would the tuners/grinders out there recommend.

Then same for a more serious effort, some pulling some drag racing, and a 2.6 charger and matching stix maximum rpm 3600-3800

Then for an all out effort for pulling or drag racing with a serious 2.8 or 3.0 charger maximum rpm 4500-4800

So for the middle example what would be the maximum lift, and duration for best performance without cutting the piston, lobe seperation, advanced or retarded cam timing, assymetrical or symetrical lobes, loose or tight valve lash, etc etc

For your example please to list the stock values for the original cam for a baseline as well as your version, as I understand some have experimented with early VE cams, and 24v cams in the 12v with interesting results.

Not to mention not all of the people reading this thread will know what the stock cam figures are.
